Descripion:
Lead site operations, coordinate engineering teams and ensure timely project execution across industrial EPC projects.


Location : India


Experience : 8 to 12 years


Key Responsibility :

  • Plan, coordinate and monitor day-to-day site execution activities across civil, mechanical and electrical works.
  • Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, safety regulations and client specifications.
  • Liaise with design, procurement and construction teams to resolve technical issues and maintain workflow continuity.
  • Prepare progress reports, manage subcontractors and support project commissioning and handover activities.

Qualification and Skills :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or related Engineering discipline.
  • Strong understanding of EPC project lifecycle, drawings, technical documentation and site execution processes.
  • Experience in handling industrial projects such as power, steel, infrastructure or process plants.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOQs and technical specifications accurately.

Required Skills :

  • Develop, implement and enforce site-specific Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) plans in line with statutory and project requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, toolbox talks and incident investigations across EPC project sites.
  • Ensure compliance with local safety laws, client HSE standards and corporate safety policies.
  • Monitor high-risk activities such as lifting operations, working at height, confined space entry and heavy equipment handling.
  • Lead safety training programs and awareness initiatives for employees, contractors and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to integrate safety into planning and execution phases.
  • Maintain safety documentation, permits, inspection records and statutory compliance reports.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions.

Qualification and Skills :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Diploma in Engineering with recognised certification in Industrial Safety.
  • NEBOSH / IOSH / Diploma in Industrial Safety (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of EPC site safety standards, statutory regulations and environmental norms.
  • Experience in heavy engineering, infrastructure or industrial EPC project environments.
  • Ability to conduct hazard identification (HIRA/JSA) and risk mitigation planning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in preparing safety documentation and compliance reports.
  • Strong analytical and incident investigation capability.
